When I hear about someone stealing something like this it sounds bad. But it has happened before a long time ago, But since it is in my life time I feel more about it then I do with older paintings. This man who took this image from this girl should of at least gave her some credit for the image. But she didn't get anything. If this happened to me I would be really upset with the fact that someone got money for it and creator didn't get anything from it. This guy sold this image for around a million dollars.
I think this girl should go after this man since it was her work. This man did something wrong and should learn it was wrong to do something like this. If he did this who knows if he will do it again or not..
People take art works and try to make them their own. But when I think about it I still think its not there own work. But just adding onto the painting to say that they can make it their own. But from my point of view it still isn't there own art work. Also there is this guy who makes saying from newspapers by blacking out the work and making it say something funny or something different. But he didn't know people have already done this. He was just copying the idea about it.. This man looked up where it came from and made a time line from when it started to him.
This is the video this guy did to share his idea. And this video is where I learn about what he did.
I do think this is a cool idea. But it isn't his original idea but he is just following the idea other people have had. It's not like he's taking a painting and drawing over it like how some people do. When people do graffiti on walls or trains different people add on to original art works. Sometimes people feel that they are making it better but who knows if the creator thinks it's better or not. I never really thought about this until my teacher brought it up in class of people tampering with other painting someone else has made. I feel it is wrong but someone can follow with the idea they had just don't need to take the original art work.
